আমাদের কথা
২৪ ডিসেম্বর ১৯৯৯। প্রায় ২৫ বছর আগে প্রথম প্রকাশিত হয় ট্যাবলয়েড সাপ্তাহিক সংবাদপত্র ‘গ্রামবাংলার খবর’। কলকাতা থেকে প্রায় ৪০ কিলোমিটার দূরে মফঃস্বল শহর অশোকনগর থেকে প্রকাশিত হলেও অল্পদিনের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে গোটা উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা জেলায়। কিন্তু পরে অনিবার্য কিছু কারণে অনিয়মিত হয়ে পড়ে। এরপর থেকে পাক্ষিক ট্যাবলয়েড আকারে প্রকাশিত হতে থাকে এই কাগজ। যদিও তারও ধারাবাহিকতা থাকেনি। কিন্তু দীর্ঘ ২৫ বছরে জেলার বহু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ খবর প্রকাশ করেছে গ্রামবাংলার খবর। নজির হয়ে উঠেছে। বিভিন্ন সময়ে এই সংবাদপত্রে লিখেছেন, সাংবাদিকতা করেছেন বহু শিক্ষানবিশ সাংবাদিক, লেখক, সাংবাদিক এবং চিত্র সাংবাদিক। এদের অনেকেই বন্ধু হয়ে উঠেছেন এই কাগজের। পাশাপাশি গড়ে উঠেছে বেশ কিছু পাঠক বন্ধুও। এই বন্ধুদের দাবিতেই আবার এই সংবাদপত্র নিয়মিত প্রকাশের চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে। বছর তিনেক আগে ডিজিটাল দুনিয়াতে পা রেখেছে গ্রামবাংলার খবর। টেকনিক্যাল কিছু কারণে সাময়িক বন্ধ থাকার পর ফের অনলাইন প্রকাশনা শুরু হয়েছে।
এখন বাংলা ভাষায় নানা রঙের নানা ধরনের ডিজিটাল সংবাদ মাধ্যম রয়েছে। এদের তুলনায় অতি নগন্য এই উদ্যোগ। আকারে খুবই ছোটো, কিন্তু ভাবনায় অনেক, অনেক বড়ো। ঘটনা প্রবাহে ভেসে যাওয়া নয়, বিশ্লেষণ ও ভাবনার অনুশীলনের পক্ষে কাজ করাই এই উদ্যোগের একমাত্র লক্ষ্য। আপনাদের সবসময় সঙ্গে চাই, চাই মতামত এবং পরামর্শ। পাশাপাশি চাই সমালোচনা। সবাই সঙ্গে থাকুন।

24 December 1999. The tabloid weekly newspaper ‘Grambanglar Khabar’ was first published about 25 years ago. Although it was released from Ashoknagar, a town about 40 kilometers from Kolkata, it spread to the entire North 24 Parganas district within a few days. But later it became irregular due to some unavoidable reasons. Since then it has been published in fortnightly tabloid form. Although that too did not have continuity. But in the long 25 years Grambanglar Khabar has published many important news of the district. It has become a precedent. Many novice journalists, writers, journalists and photojournalists have written and done journalism in this newspaper at different times. Many of them have become friends of this paper. Along with this, several reader friends have also developed. On the demand of these friends, efforts are being made to publish this newspaper regularly. Three years ago Grambanglar Khabar entered the digital world. Online publication has started again after being temporarily closed due to some technical reasons.
Now there are different types of digital news media in Bengali language. This initiative is very insignificant compared to them. Very small in size, but very, very big in thought. The only aim of this initiative is to work for the practice of analysis and thought, not to be carried away by the flow of events. Always with you, want opinions and suggestions. Also want criticism.
